About me
Hi there! I'm Christine . Welcome to my blog,Christine’s Journey To Weight-loss. I'm a 42-year old single and unemployed with two pets. At the time was weighing 220lbs. I volunteer in a retirement home for adults who can't look after themselves. I was working with kids for 20 years but thought it was time for a change. I live in Canada, British columbia.
MY STORY IN A NUTSHELL
I finished high school in 1993 I guess shortly after that I started to gain weight and I am not sure how much I was starting to gain weight. I started not to like how I looked and feel but continue doing nothing about it. Oh how i love food and still do, but food didn’t love me back it hated me. I started to get bugged by people who knew me,thought it was funny or yet helping me to lose weight.I kept asking them to stop But in long run it never did stop.
When I was working, with kids I was asked when I was due? These kids didn’t know any better because they were young. Either way I was hurt by it but I still didn’t do anything about.
I did however joined few gyms but they never did last too long. I guess it was in 1999 that I started to attend gym few times a week as, I knew I had to lose weight as I was getting married and that I needed to get into my dress at that time I was 220lb.
Well now it is 2016 not married but I am 161.7 lbs lighter. There have been many times were I wanted to give up, there have been many times where my weight has been a Yo-Yo! Do I love going to the gym yes I do. Do I enjoy any activities sure and do I put up a fuss about it no I don’t. There have been many pot holes along the way of losing weight and gaining it back again.
It wasn’t up until now I rejoined a gym that was 20 mins out of my hometown went and got myself a trainer to help me lose weight. It is going good,I am keeping a food journal that has helped me to lose weight but also having a workout program.
I was also born with a learning Disability as well.
Now I am trying to lose weight before my trip to Hawaii in Nov I would like to be I45-135lbs, I hope I am going to get there.
